About the Client

Simplicity Group is a boutique Web3 advisory firm working with founders and institutions on tokenomics, go-to-market strategy, and fundraising. Since 2020, the team has advised over 250 projects across four continents, helping clients raise more than $310M and create over $2.5B in market cap. The firm intentionally limits the number of clients it takes on at once, working directly with founding teams rather than at a distance. Simplicity Group came to LKI to reposition their brand to match the calibre of client they wanted to attract.

Challenge

Rebrand from an agency focused on tokenomics to a full-stack GTM consultancy for Series A businesses in Web3 and AI.

In under two months, LKI repositioned Simplicity Group into an institutional, revenue-focused advisory, rebuilding the narrative, the brand system, and the website around a single goal: making the homepage sell the firm's GTM retainer, its primary source of revenue. The rebrand covered stakeholder interviews, competitive strategy, mission and vision development, full narrative and positioning work, website copywriting and design for Homepage, About, and Accelerator, a complete brand identity system, and a YouTube thumbnail template system for the firm's lecture content.

We executed the rebrand in five focused stages.

1. User interviews

Before writing a single word of strategy, we conducted interviews with both founders, Daniel Malinovski and Alex Fatuliaj, to surface consistent themes, contradictions, and unexpected insights. The interviews covered three areas:

  • Why has revenue stagnated despite a strong track record?

  • What is stopping the firm from charging more for the same work?

  • Where has the client base shifted, and where does it need to go next?

2. Strategy

Founder interviews surfaced a consistent pattern across the Web3 advisory space. Firms winning higher fees and more inbound inquiries were not necessarily doing stronger work; they were presenting their track record more aggressively and leading with credibility signals earlier in the funnel. Simplicity Group had a track record of working on 250 projects and raising $310M, but the brand presentation did not reflect that. That gap became the starting point.

3. Naming

The name Aegora was engineered from two classical Greek roots: Aegis - the protective force carried by Zeus and Athena, used to denote sanctioned authority and institutional oversight. While Agora, the structured civic and commercial center of the ancient Greek polis, where only recognized participants operated and capital moved alongside influence. Fused into a single word that exists in no language, Aegora is original, trademarkable with zero global conflict, and structurally describes what the business does. Three syllables (Ae·go·ra), stress on the first, consistent with classical institutional cadence.

4. Narrative & Positioning

With the strategic gap defined, LKI worked through three narrative directions with the founders. Two were developed in full:

  • The Operator, built around embedded execution and hands-on delivery.

  • The Architect, built around engineered financial outcomes.

  • The client's own data point, that 90 to 95 percent of seed-funded projects never reach Series A, became the emotional core of the resulting mission statement rather than a supporting statistic. The founders were explicit that they wanted to be seen as operators with results, not pioneers, so the tone of voice was locked as formal, restrained, and instructional throughout.

5. Visual identity creation

Alongside the copy, LKI produced a full brand guidelines system covering logo usage, color, typography, pattern, illustration, and imagery, plus a YouTube thumbnail template system for the firm's lecture and content series.

The identity was built to stay institutional rather than decorative, with the signal green restricted to 10 to 40 percent of any given screen, and typography kept to a consistent, predictable hierarchy rather than an expressive one. The system was applied across every touchpoint, including the website, brand guidelines documentation, and the YouTube thumbnail template series.

6. Website design

LKI wrote copy and designed three pages: Homepage, About, and Accelerator. GTM was positioned as the primary service ahead of Tokenomics, the founders were made visible with full bios and credibility markers, and case studies were pulled higher up the page to support faster conversion decisions. The Accelerator page was rebuilt around explicit qualification criteria, so it filters for the right applicant instead of inviting anyone in.
