Grow social media community and user base prior to TGE, boost TVL

When we first teamed up with Minterest, they had just launched their protocol and had a small but loyal community of 10,000 followers. Our mission was to supercharge their social media presence and turn that small community into a thriving, engaged user base. The goal was to significantly grow Minterest’s followers and get the existing community buzzing.

Our approach

We knew that to stand out in an oversaturated DeFi market, we needed to do more than just shout into the void. So, we rolled up our sleeves and dove deep into content development. We crafted in-depth, value-packed pieces that would grab the attention of DeFi enthusiasts and keep the Minterest community informed and engaged.

But we didn’t stop there. To boost credibility and build trust, we teamed up with the right players in the ecosystem. We executed 20+ campaigns with key partners. This included launching and co-marketing with platforms like Mantle and Taiko.

We ensured sustained growth and engagement, by implementing dedicated social media growth strategies, including community management and engagement programs on Twitter, Telegram, and Discord. Collaborations with KOLs were achieved broader outreach and credibility, and we drove user engagement, by launching interactive and reward-driven campaigns, like NFT giveaways and a new chain launch promotion.

To keep the momentum going, we implemented dedicated social media growth strategies that included community management and engagement programs on Twitter, Telegram, and Discord. And because we knew the power of influence, we brought KOLs into the mix to extend our reach and credibility even further. To top it off, we launched interactive and reward-driven campaigns — think NFT giveaways and new chain launch promotions — that got users engaged and talking.

Co-marketing campaigns

Minterest initially made its debut on Mantle, but they wanted more than just a launch. They wanted to create a deeper connection with their audience. To make that happen, we rolled out over 20 co-marketing campaigns with ecosystem partners like Mantle Moonshot and Mantle Missions, leveraging platforms like Galxe, Zealy, and TaskOn.

These campaigns weren’t just noise; they drove real engagement. Rewards in $USDT, $MNT, $MINTY, and NFTs gave the community plenty of reasons to jump in and participate.

Mantle Moonshot

The Mantle Moonshot campaign was a significant co-marketing initiative to explore dApps within the Mantle Ecosystem. This four-week-long event involved eight curated Moonshot Protocols and offered participants the chance to win mystery boxes containing exclusive Citizens of Mantle NFT add-on traits and protocol token rewards.

The Mantle Moonshot campaign was one of our standout co-marketing initiatives, designed to explore the dApps within the Mantle Ecosystem. This four-week-long event was a full-on exploration of eight handpicked Moonshot Protocols. To build even more excitement, participants had the chance to win mystery boxes filled with exclusive Citizens of Mantle NFT add-on traits and protocol token rewards.

How Mantle Moonshot worked:

  • Each week, we introduced two protocols with specific tasks on Galxe. Tasks included everything from depositing and trading to staking, referrals, and social media follows.
  • To get in on the mystery box action, participants had to complete all the tasks for each protocol within that week.
  • By the end of the campaign, we distributed a whopping 19,000 Citizens of Mantle NFT add-on traits and protocol token reward pools.

The results? These campaigns took it to the next level. We saw a huge increase in community involvement, and it helped build an even stronger connection with the Minterest audience. It was a clear win that proved just how powerful these collaborative marketing efforts can be in driving active participation and engagement within the ecosystem.

We focused on creating and promoting engaging content and campaigns on Twitter to attract and retain followers. Here’s how we made it happen:

Community management

To really supercharge Minterest’s social media presence, we put a few key strategies into play:
  • Dedicated community management (CM): We appointed a dedicated Community Manager whose sole focus was to drive engagement and keep the conversation flowing across all social media platforms.
  • Discord ambassadorship program: We kicked off a program to bring in community ambassadors — passionate users who actively promoted Minterest and kept the energy high in the community.
  • Discord ticket system: To make sure users were getting the support they needed, we introduced a streamlined ticket system on Discord, boosting user satisfaction across the board.

Results

  • Telegram members: Increased from 7,807 to 34,307 (+439%)
  • Discord members: Increased from 6,575 to 21,113 (+324%)

KOL campaigns

To get Minterest the attention it deserved, we teamed up with several KOLs in the DeFi space. By tapping into their influence, we boosted Minterest’s visibility and upped its credibility. In a crowded and competitive market, this had a real impact in terms of building trust and expanding reach.

NFT giveaway with KOLs

We teamed up with a group of KOLs to launch an NFT giveaway campaign that got people talking. This was a strategic move to generate excitement and drive user participation. By offering valuable NFTs and leveraging the KOLs’ extensive reach, we created a buzz around Minterest that was hard to ignore. This made sure users were eager to get involved.
