Gameplan

The goal was to grow the Multibank.io community by 5x while targeting 2K users to test their derivatives feature. To achieve this, we introduced a special 120 USDT bonus for joining and depositing on MBIO, incentivizing engagement. We not only hit the target but exceeded it, by 2.5x reaching 5K engaged testers.

Our strategy:

  • Telegram ads management: We conducted thorough research to find the best channels for each message Multibank.io wanted to spread, factoring in channel size, relevant topics, and key regions.
  • Tailored messaging: We developed custom messaging for growing the TG community, introducing new trading pairs, and promoting a derivatives bonus with five ad variations for each.
  • Optimization & A/B testing: We optimized weekly ad copies to maintain engagement, using A/B testing to refine performance.
  • Engagement strategy: We implemented a bot to ensure clear CTAs that directed users to take action immediately after joining the Telegram channel.

We executed a month-long Telegram ad campaign with the following key actions:

  • Researched and selected top Telegram channels to target the most relevant communities based on specific criteria, including size, topics, and regional language preferences.
    • Channel size: A mix of large and small channels to cater to different styles of communities.
    • Topics: Focused on competitor channels, token communities for new listings, RWA channels, and trading/DeFi communities to ensure our messaging reached the right audience.
    • Language/region: Prioritized markets where MBIO has the strongest presence and potential for growth.
  • Launched three core messaging angles to introduce new pairs, grow community engagement, and promote the derivatives bonus.
  • Weekly ad copy changes kept the campaign fresh and engaging, while regular A/B testing ensured ongoing optimization.
  • Installed a bot to reinforce calls-to-action (CTAs) and convert new subscribers into active community members, driving further engagement and participation.

We achieved significant growth, with the Telegram community skyrocketing from 4,000 members to 30,000, representing 750% growth. The cost per new user was impressively low at USD 0.14, far below the industry average of USD 1.2 for a verified trader on Telegram.

Galxe campaign

Alongside Telegram ads, we launched a tailored Galxe campaign designed to boost engagement and promote Multibank.io across social channels. To execute this, we:

  • Set up Galxe Space and developed a comprehensive quest with 21 tasks across six categories, focusing on social media engagement, in-app tasks, and referral loops.
  • Boosted engagement through seamless integration with the ongoing Telegram ads campaign.
  • Reinforced the message by installing a “Join Galxe” CTA in the Telegram channel.

Results

In one month, the campaign brought in over 2,000 new users, with a cost per user of USD 0.17. The Galxe space setup was completed within a week, and the quest successfully engaged users across multiple platforms.
